Now user your new login details to log into the exchange.
Step 2: Enable Two-Factor Authentication to Secure your Account
Once you have completed this step, you will have the Profile page to enable Two-Factor Authentication page. This will help to keep your account secure when you work with Altcointrader.
Install and enable the Google authenticator and make sure that you back up your Secret Key because this needed to recover your account should it ever get stolen or lost.
Step 3: Deposit Money to Your Account
To be able to buy your first Bitcoin you will need to deposit money into your Altcointrader account. After this, you will be able to buy your Bitcoin or Etherium (or other virtual currency) to your account.
Click on the Deposit menu item, Select South Africa Rand(ZAR) as your payment option. Now you will see the banking details that you need to make payment to.
NB: Remember to include the Reference number you see listed there as that will link the money to your specific account. Depositing money into Altcointrader happens farely quickly, especially if you are paying from FNB or ABSA. There is no deposit fee when sending money to Altcointrader which is a huge plus compared to other exchanges.
You will now be able to buy Bitcoin or one of the other cryptocurrencies listed as soon as the money refrects on your account!

After you have decided on the right currency option, check out the buy and sell order options to ensure that this is a trade you can do.
